Director Biography - Benito Marquez "Ifayemisi"

Director and audiovisual producer formed on the street, with a few workshops on top and a pile of friends who have taught him on the way, he has made several documentaries such as hip hop protest in 2004 (filmed between Cuba, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, Chile ) and Boricua Rap (Puerto Rico) in 2007, A produced and directed music videos in Venezuela, the Caribbean and Africa, winner of two international awards for best music video in 2012 and 2014 (The world is not for Anonimo Consejo Awards Fists Up and The Light of my Eyes Kokino Mc Lukas Awards), Nominated this year 2016 "Best video and direction" Aguaje and his Buena Vista Social Club Cuba awards Lukas 2016, Director of the television program Madera Presenta, where he has permanently reflected the presence of Afro-descendant Venezuelan and Caribbean culture, among other audiovisual productions. Current projects

• I currently direct a pilot project called "Caracas en Salsa" producing and directing music videos to new and classic salsa groups in the city. (Jony Bueno and his Makambo Proyect, Edwin Sanz percussionist musician based in Zuisa) both musicians from the San Agustin Parish.

• Collaborated with the Alameda Theater in the Sanaguis Project, creating a creative communication command, driven by young people from the community. Where he teaches audiovisual production classes to young people of the community

• Pre production of the short film Negra Rosa Esperanza AfroVenezolano Cinema
