Larvenspiel - Masquerades
Mr. Klausmann is worried about his hometown Salzburg since the refugee crisis has brought many foreign people there. Only at the park, where he enjoys watching a little girl doing pantomimes with her father, everything still seems safe. But then Mr. Klausmann’s wallet disappears. As he finds out that the pantomimes are refugees, he immediately accuses them of stealing it. In the end Mr. Klausmann has to learn the hard way that the world is not only black and white.

Sandra Lanzl was born in Trostberg an der Alz, Germany, on the 13th of September and partly was growing up there and partly in Salzburg, Austria. From 2004 to 2008 she attended the Hertzhaimer Gymnasium (high school) in Trostberg and after her move to Anthering she attended the linguistically focused Karl-Heinz Böhm Gymnasium (also a high school) in Salzburg where she graduated 2011 with the Matura (A-Levels). After that, she studied MultiMediaArt with specialization in film
at the University of Applied Sciences in Puch/Urstein, until she got her bachelor ́s degree in 2015. During these studies she also did an internship in the film company AirosRecords. Since fall 2015 she continued studying film at the University of Applied Sciences in Puch for a master ́s degree. Her aim ist to use the medium film to cast a light on social injustices and problems and raise awareness in society for them. The short movie Larvenspiel takes up such a social topic that she regards as very important and she hopes that also this movie becomes again a story for reflection.
