Director Biography - Travis Boone

Based in Chicago, Travis currently enjoys working on low-budget projects with friends and the community around them, focusing on experimental documentaries and shorts with little equipment or crew.
Having never attended film school, they hope to express to people exploring cinema that “it’s okay if all you have is a camcorder or an iPad, just shoot”, hoping to normalize the medium in all its forms (big or low/no budget) in order to push for accessibility in film for anyone of any background, financial or otherwise.

Director Statement

After failing to finish a huge local no-budget project titled "Midnight Voyage" (and had already been temporarily given a Black Magic Cinema camera for that specific project) we felt obligated to film something, anything, with the tools at our disposal. This film is the cathartic outcome of several artists coming together and making fun of the very thing we were doing.
