Director Statement

"Zero Day Exploit" is a piece of IT terminology that resembles both the technical problems that the characters in this film are trying to overcome, but is also metaphor of the emotional connection and relationship between the two friends. In the space of just 10 minutes the film attempts to re-create the experience of being a student in one of the world's most developed cities, and shows the kind of challenges that companies and individuals in the modern world may often face and how one can overcome them.
The film is as relatable to someone who knows nothing about IT as it would be to a professional hacker. The theme of looking out for your friends will be close to all viewers and the audience are able to develop a close bond with the main characters.
