Director Biography - Amadeus Gonzalez

AMADEUS GONZALEZ was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. Upon briefly studying Theater/Television/Film at The University of Colorado Denver, Amadeus moved in 2013 to establish New Revolution Studios in Austin, TX. With the inception of NRS, Amadeus wrote, directed, & produced The Pioneer (2015), a self-budgeted, short prequel/proof of concept to a prospective feature film.

Watchers is a subtle look into the transition of the film industry and the people in it trying to live their passions or goals while keeping their integrity. With evolving technology and information now traveling faster and uncensored, the need for entertainment for distraction's sake is making it's way out with a fight.

Watchers both in story and out, is about the democratization of the film industry, accelerated by the digital revolution and pushed to its new limits of storytelling By the faithful followers. This film was made with the attitude of “Imitating the imitators” and heavily involved with the local businesses, talent & resources and communities of Austin, Fort Worth and Houston, Texas.
