"Big Luke" Walker (Director, Writer) and Vinnie "Funkmaster V" Vineyard (AD, Producer, Writer) started off being rivals in the wrestling ring. The first night they met, nearly 7 foot tall Big Luke Walker clotheslined Funkmaster V on concrete. Their friendship had nowhere to go but up from there.
They started making high quality, comedic wrestling promos against each other, which got the attention of the right people. They were asked to start producing wrestling television for Fox in 2015. After being abruptly fired after six months, the two started a legit but comedic paranormal show called "Wrestling With Ghosts" with another wrestler, Travis Graves (El Gordo Gringo). The show won awards and was picked up on ASY TV, which it still runs to this day along with two other paranormal shows the duo created and produce.
The duo made comedy videos, wrestling promos, and paranormal television for years, being interrupted by producers and talent holding deals that never went anywhere. After their last television deal for Netflix fell through because of Covid 19, the duo decided to start making southern horror and comedy movies based on the stories they've heard and experienced in the Great Smoky Mountains. Their first movie "The Hike", was filmed in 2020 and released in 2021 and has been praised critically so far and done well in the festival circuit.
