Denial is easier and the comfort we’re living in makes it even more so. This is a very dangerous combination, it makes us blind and brings injustice, hypocrisy and abuse. Change, on the other hand, requires a lot of hard work with critical self-reflection and lucidity. It can, however, be an extremely painful process.
