Will Chase is an award-winning director, producer, and Tony-Nominated actor best known for his television and stage appearances including "Dopesick", "Nashville", "Sharp Objects", "The Deuce", "Stranger Things", "American Crime Story", "Time After Time", "After The Wedding", "Smash" and "Rescue Me" among others.
His debut short film “Dagger”, which he also directed, won Best Score at the 2021 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival and was featured at the 2021 Manhattan Film Festival. Other directing credits: “I’m Right Here”, “Ingrid Michaelson’s 14th Annual Holiday Hop: Live” and the Tiger King parody music video “Tigers and Young Men”.
What to do about actors you’ve always wanted to work with, who are constantly busy but are finally available, and who also happen to be your children? Write a film for them and hope they all sign on. And thankfully, they did! I wanted to give them something heavy to play around with but also a bit cheeky which they ran with and in turn, created something really nuanced, disturbing, and fun. Getting to finally collaborate with Daisy and Gracie, and another wonderful actor, Bernard Scudder (who’s been part of my family for years), was definitely a highlight in my career.
