Director Statement

I always had a keen interest in history and how it influences society and lives.

I studied about the 1975 Emergency and realized how it affected generations. The government enforced mass sterilization to control population. I also met a few people who were victims of this and decided to document it through an innocent love story.

I wanted to make a statement about how politics can destroy dreams and lives of innocent people.
