Alysse Leite-Rogers has over 25 years of experience working on Features, Television MOW’s, Pilots and Episodic productions. She started working with super8 film along side her mother shortly after she learned to walk. Following High school she attended the Film/Television program at Humber College in Toronto where she directed a number of 16mm short films. After graduation, she wrote a short film called ‘The Art of Being’, a satire about the art world which aired on CBC’s Canadian Reflections across Canada. For 22yrs, Alysse worked as a 1st Assistant Director for all the major US networks such as ABC, NBC, Warner Bros, as well as Disney, FX, Showtime, Hulu, and Freeform.
In 2017 she directed a 1hr episode of NBC Universal’s Dramedy ‘Girlfriends Guide to Divorce’ for Bravo.
Recently her short film script ‘The Finger’ was a finalist in the DGC BC Legendary Filmmaker competition and ‘Tipped’ was winner of the Harold Greenberg Fund’s BC Filmmaker competition.
Alysse’s passion for storytelling extends to writing and she has created a 1hr co viewing action/adventure drama based on the American Newbery prize winning book ‘Crispin and the Cross of Lead’. Alysse is part of ABC’s New Talent Pool and will be directing an episode of Warner Bros/CW show ‘Supergirl-S5’ which will air in November.
