The Old Green Tree

Narrating the journey of one woman who migrates to Iran from Venezuela, 'The Old Green Tree' charts her life before and after the move, as she adapts to the challenges of her new situation. The film presents a sociological view towards life and culture, a fluid, transmutable concept, in keeping with the views of its subject, a university professor. A thoughtful tale of a woman out of kind and a sincere narration of the human spirit, this stirring documentary holds true to its message and contains within it lessons for women everywhere.
