The First Day Outside Europe

The first day of the new year. The first day of the second year of a global coronavirus pandemic. The day of Great Britain's final farewell to the European Union. A subjective camera makes a reconnaissance of political, mental and symbolic transformations. These changes, however, may be important primarily for the authors of this film, Poles living in Great Britain. Space and its meaning in confrontation with the minimalist narrative are the basic elements of the film. A modest, self-referential documentary, which is an intimate portrait of one day in the life of the film’s authors.
