Aaron Faulkner is an Emmy-nominated director, cinematographer and post-production expert with over 15 years of professional experience in tv, film and video production. His work has been in demand by businesses big and small from local establishments to the likes of CocaCoca, Ford Motor Company and Georgia Lottery.
Aaron started his career in college as a student at Indiana University of PA where he convinced his college professor to let him borrow one of the school’s cameras to produce his own documentary on his basketball team’s senior year. Impressed by his initiative, his professor turned that request into an independent study course and gave Aaron free reign to create to his heart’s desire. After filming, directing, and editing the one hour documentary that showcased the team’s journey from pre-season to their heart breaking Final Four loss in the NCAA Division II tournament. Smitten by the production bug, he’s never looked back.
15 years later, Aaron has refined his craft and has blossomed into a captivating storyteller who’s versatile skillset has been featured on projects such as assistant director on Chrisette Michele’s “A Couple of Forevers”, post production supervisor on the feature film Prosper, director on visually and emotionally moving projects such as Byron Lord’s Better Than Dead, Pipe Dreams and cinematographer/director on documentaries such as The Erin Swanson Story, Dr. Boyce Watkins’ Raising a Black Scholar & Escaping the Corporate Plantation.
Aaron currently is one of the founding partners and creative director at 5 Points Media, Inc., where he brings a highly creative skillset and passion to a team that produces everything from commercials, short films, to corporate and government media; using video as a tool to produce maximum impact that communicates excellence through dynamic content creation.
