"The Castle of Four Doors"

The beautiful, young Judith marries the mysterious Duke Bluebeard against her family's wishes and flees with him to his shadowy castle. Within, she finds four locked doors, which she pleads with Bluebeard to open, one by one. Each door reveals a terrible secret of Bluebeard's soul, until, before the fourth door, Judith fears the rumors of Bluebeard having murdered his former wives may be true. The fourth door is opened and Judith cannot choose but join her three predecessors, but in the end, are they ghosts, memories, or fantasies? Bluebeard's four wives disappear, and the Duke is left alone in utter darkness.
