The Camp(us)
Justice Murray Sinclair was famously quoted speaking about Canadian residential schools when he said “Education got us into this mess, and education will get us out.” Using this quote as inspiration “The Camp(us)” spotlights three outstanding Indigenous post-secondary students who are reclaiming their education and cultivating their own personal relationship with their culture.

One Island Media is a knowledge mobilization company that focuses on the communication of science and research through video. One Island Media was formed in response to what is known as the knowledge-action gap, the disparity between knowledge creators and the public. We have the unique opportunity to bring the knowledge being created in communities and institutions to the people it matters to most using the most powerful storytelling medium ever created — video.
At One Island Media our mission is to connect communities using video based storytelling, while upholding outstanding ethical standards to foster meaningful social and environmental change.
