The Brawler

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, my upbringing was deeply rooted in the Vietnamese community. However, my childhood was greatly shaped by my fascination with anime, video games, and the captivating world of Hong Kong cinema.

Under the moniker Doppoganga (pronounced doppelganger), I began my creative journey as a content creator, initially crafting music videos, sketches, and action-packed scenes within the cosplay community. Over time, my focus has shifted towards the creation of compelling short films, allowing me to broaden my creative horizons.

I've developed a preference for the unconventional and tend to steer clear of modern cinema. I'm most drawn to collaborations with open-minded and adventurous crews who are willing to explore uncharted territories in their craft.

As an artist of color, my mission extends beyond personal expression. I aim to break down creative barriers and encourage others to share their narratives without restraint in their chosen mediums. My goal is to inspire fellow creators to unleash their boundless creativity and make their voices heard.
