Bedlam
In a dim Singaporean apartment, Father is awakened by the voice of his wife. He drags himself out of bed slowly, clearly aged and feeble. He continues on to his daily routine but the voices continued to haunt him, pushing him to his breaking point.

With more than 2 years of Visual Communications background, Nor Hisham specialises in Graphic Design & Productions. He starts to have a strong passion for Filming and begin doing filmmaking.
I directed this film, Bedlam, after learning of the situation of the elderly in Singapore. At their age, many of them have suffered and lost almost everything, and everyone dear to them. I want to showcase the loneliness they experience daily. In my personal experience, my grandfather suffered from memory loss and could not recognise me over the years. The main character in the film hears voices from his repressed memories. Those memories are both good and bad. By creating this film, I hope to help voice out the mental struggles of Singaporean elderly people.
