Temporary Life

Yuantong has the meaning of "round is perfect and general rule are the same". It is a Buddhist chant. It is a reflection of the Lao-ma who has been a sanitation worker in Kunming City for more than 20 years, dealing with the relationship with his family, the world and life itself between his hometown and the abnormal sound.

Director Biography - Vincent Zheng

鄭無邊 Vincent ZHENG was born in 1984 and grew up in a Yi minority village in the Wumeng Mountain, southwest of China, studied and graduated journalism at university, after engaged in near ten occupations, set off to make film in 2011, till now is currently a Independent professional filmmaker, as director, screenwriter, producer. Now work and live in Beijing, China.

Director Statement

I left my hometown to go to college and come to live in the city years ago . The character in the film who is my own uncle in law. He came to the city from hometown for more than 20 years. I saw my situation in him, just like hundred million people in this country.
