Director Statement

For me “Stopover” is a very important movie. Not only is it the biggest and most expensive film so far but it also breaks new grounds for me personally. It takes a complete turn in terms of the narrative (compared to my prior short films) and also comes with a way faster pace. For the first time we were working with a variety of actresses and actors and collaborated with so many new talents behind the camera. Slowly but surely we are working our way to commercial cinema!

I want to thank each and everyone for contributing their time and energy because without the help of each individual regardless of the position, Stopover wouldn’t have turned out to what it is today. There is still a lot to learn but this movie is another proof that we are on the best way to become the filmmakers of tomorrow!
