As a graduate of Savannah College of Arts and Design, Julianna's passion is telling female-rooted stories. She has previously directed dramas and coming-of-age short films through the eyes of womanhood. While living in Mexico, she fell in love with the culture and the people. She hopes Sostenme will resonate with women and evoke emotion in a way that spreads love.
The concept of friendship is so often overlooked by love stories or family dramas, while friendship is as essential to people as breathing.
We all have lost a friend in the path of life, and Sofía and Inés embody the longing of that which used to be: that undeniable chemistry, a connection that works like magnets, and no matter how much time goes by, remains the strongest gravitational force in the universe.
Female friendships are one of the greatest gifts given to girls throughout their lives, and that's what this story is about: those once-in-a-lifetime people you meet who shape you beyond reason.
