The story arises from an investigation on voyeurism and the Slasher cinema. Mainly in this type of cinema, female characters are usually the victims, so I decided to change that detail.

Voyeurism arose from a thought about Mexico City. The city has many citizens, but there is minimal communication between them. There are people who live in constant loneliness, where fears can blind their desire to meet someone else. And the only way they can find is through a camera or binoculars.

Two great books of great inspiration were "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. In Dostoyevsky's novel the morality of the main character named Rodion Raskolnikov is explored, who in the first part of the book commits a murder and in the following parts his punishment is explored.

The second book talks about Gregorio Samsa, who little by little is transformed into a monstrous insect and his family begins to move away from him, considering him an aberration. What interests me to explore is the roots that the main character begins to have in the place, little by little he lives in his room and begins to acquire a disability, which does not allow him to move much.

I want to bring my main character closer to this type of rootedness, since he is in a similar situation and lives in his room, dedicating himself to his hobby and other types of works.
