Seventh Child
The film is inspired by the autobiographic novel "The City of Pain", by the young Roma author Meti Kamberi. This nineteen-year-old boy grew up on the street. At the age of twelve, the center for social assistance sent him to a dormitory for street children. There he learned to read and write. After seven years, he is writing his first novel, which attracts the attention of the media public in Serbia. It has been printed in seven editions and has been translated into German and English.
The film "Seventh Child" is a story of talent, ambition and determination. About a city and a pain.
The director and screenwriter of the film is Milutin Jovanovic, and the film is supported by the European Roma Institute of Arts and Culture in Berlin.

MILUTIN JOVANOVIĆ (born 1970) is a film director who graduated from the TV Directing Department at BK University, Academy of Arts, Belgrade. In addition to his commercial work, Jovanović directed several documentaries dealing with the Roma community in Serbia. Jovanović is the founder of NeVO, a NGO that strives to improve the social inclusion and acceptance of the Roma communities by using media campaigns to propose a shift in their public image. He is also an executive director of the Belgrade-based video production company "Golden Touch" and works for the Serbian National Public Media Service RTS, as an external video production. Now, Jovanović lives and works in Berlin, and he founded video production "Frau DIDI".
