Director Biography - Billy Klotsa

Billy Klotsa (hers/his) is a gender non-conforming visual artist based between London and Athens, working with film and painting. Klotsa’s practice explores relationships between queer theory and architecture, investigating notions of displacement and otherness, with a deep interest in the emotional bonds and dynamics which emerge through the lived experiences of sexual and gender diverse people within urban space. This work is often highly collaborative working with queer cinematographers, musicians and costume designers of the community. Klotsa obtained an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art in 2018.
