Sad-Eyed

Sad-Eyed follows Mary, a young woman struggling with a sense of uncertainty and a feeling of being lost. Mary cannot seem to find the words to express her emotions, leaving her feeling isolated and alone.

Sad-Eyed is a story about the human experience of grappling with complex emotions and seeking connection with others who can offer support and perspective.

Director Biography - Angelo Belale

Angelo Belale is a Filipino filmmaker and writer.

Ever since he could walk, he knew he wanted to make something. He did not know what this something would be at the time, but he eventually find out that this something was writing stories; stories not about heroes nor about villains. Stories that show the human condition in the best way he can on what ever medium he chooses that day. Today he chose to show this in his short film “Sad Eyed”.

The funny thing about Angelo is that you will never know what he will create next. He aspires to connect people through his art.
