Director Statement

This is a fun, fantasy, action, adventure film, with a light-hearted tone and hilarious moments that reflect the game itself. With some graceful cinematography, soaring music, spectacular effects and nifty match cutting between the real and fantasy worlds, Roll Initiative captures the magic and humor of playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, and shows it to the world.

Not only does it capture the fun, but also the spirit behind roleplaying, and how playing the game can help you deal with real life issues and assist in problem-solving skills.

This film will also be coasting off the resurging popularity of D&D, with an accessible audience that is growing exponentially.
