Zhuqing Wang is currently majoring in Digital and Media Art at East China Normal University in Shanghai. She has completed an MA degree in Media and Film Production at New York Film Academy. Her thesis project Restart won the top prize in the 2018 National Digital Art Design Competition in China. As a female writer-director, Zhuqing is deeply interested in blending entertaining ideas with a profound subject matter and telling stories from a woman’s perspective. Her video ad Alienation, discussing the impact of mobile devices on modern society, won the silver award in the Creative Advertising Competition at East China Normal University.
