Jennifer is a first-generation, Filipina-Arab American born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. In her time working in entertainment, she has gained a deep passion for inclusive, disruptive storytelling and creative development. As a producer and director, Jennifer plans to reshape and restructure the industry’s work week and hiring practices with BIPOC women (and others consistently excluded from Hollywood, especially Asian-Americans) at the forefront of the movement.
With a degree in Film & Media from MSMU, Jennifer works at the intersection of media and social justice. As a student, she served a term as President of Women in Film and Media and received the Excellence in Leadership Award upon graduation. In her professional career, she has taken on roles as a Director’s Assistant, Set PA, and Office PA in both scripted and unscripted content. She currently holds the role of Production Secretary for the latest Netflix original starring Kevin Hart titled ME TIME.
On her own dime, she produces and directs short films and sketches with her company Avon Park Productions.
“Red Wine and Rain” marks Jennifer Marie Morgan’s directorial debut.
What remains after everything is gone in the aftermath of a breakup? Infidelity sucks, and love hurts. It's communicating those experiences in subtle complexity that "Red Wine and Rain" hopes to explore.
