Aun Ul Haider is a filmmaker from Quetta, Pakistan. Based between Quetta and Karachi he graduated from Iqra University with degree of Bachelor of Science in Film & TV. Growing up surrounded by diverse narratives in a largely undeveloped province of Pakistan, he was captivated by the art of visual storytelling and its profound impact on emotions and perspectives.
Collaborating in multiple documentaries, short films, and a couple of drama serials for the national televisions of Pakistan, Aun aimed the themes of identity, human connections, and the vivid exploration of emotions to form his creative vision. Notably, his role as a producer in the critically acclaimed short film “Parwaz Dar Shab” garnered international acclaim, receiving 13 awards from international film festivals for its exceptional execution. Driven by a relentless passion for the art of visual storytelling, Aun is committed to using film as a medium to raise awareness for social change and promote his community.
Pisho shows how even a small adventure can lead to big discoveries. It's about Ruqayya's courage and imagination in the face of tough truths. It reminds us that life's surprises can be both heartbreaking and eye-opening.
I made this film to capture the mix of joy and sadness in childhood and how unexpected moments can change us. “Pisho" invites you to join Ruqayya's journey and feel the emotions that linger long after the story ends.
