Philly Unknown-The Documentary

This film was inspired after having Britt Carpenter on my Philadelphia based podcast 'East Side Podcast' back in May of 2019. Britt became addicted to opiates after college and fell down a deep dark path of addiction and depression. He started Philly Unknown as a social media platform that quickly turned into something beautiful. I was so inspired by his story and all of the great things he has accomplished and will continue to do so in the city of Philadelphia. I contacted him soon after and asked if I can create a film about him and touch on the severe opiate epidemic issue we have been facing. Here we are a little over a year later and my 1st film is complete. Its been a hell of a journey.
