Andrew Stevenson is a filmmaker, sound artist,. writer and researcher from Manchester, England. He uses sensory ethnography, ethnographic film and soundscape composition. Andrew's first film, How We Know Each Other, was screened at Days of Ethnographic Film festival, Slovenia, 2017. How second film, Los Niños de La Terminal, filmed in Guatemala, was completed in November 2017. This film was awarded a special jury garland at Cinemistica Festival, Granada, 2023 and has been selected and screened at the Central American International Film Festival, Los Angeles. In 2021, Andrew's film Esperando un Autobús, also filmed in Guatemala, was selected and screened at Cinemistica Festival, Granada, Spain. Andrew is the author of 'The Psychology of Travel' (Routledge, 2023).
I am an experienced filmmaker and volunteer who works at Pets Corner, a refuge for abandoned or homeless animals in the city of Manchester, England. Our film is a community project, made with the help of the people who give up their time to provide a home for goats, chickens, rabbits and ducks. We hope you like our story.
