Louisa a pregnant woman, goes to visit her mother after having been away for a while. Through this interaction, a difficult secret from the past emerges again explaining why this mother and daughter have been separate for so long.

Director Biography - Samuel James Thomson

Samuel James Thomson is a Swiss British writer and director, recently graduated from the University of the Creative Arts in Farnham.

He holds his main inspirations from European Art House cinema, holding in high regards auteurs such Tarkovsky, Bergman, Godard, Kieślowski and Fellini.

His graduation film: "Not too far away from Paradise" is about to start its festival run in early May.

I don't try and tell stories, I try to take my audience through a journey which will trigger a strong emotional response. I want my audience to connect emotionally to my films more than them understanding the story.
