I'm a 20 year old independent filmmaker from Leeds, England. I'm currently studying at The Northern School of Art in Hartlepool, England. I have had a love for film for as long as I can remember, but discovered my passion for film-making at 16 and have since made several short films which embrace resourcefulness with limited budget. I am constantly developing and pushing myself to become a better filmmaker, with hopes of making my name in the film industry.
Night Shift is a passion project from Connor Lovett, Matthew Shanks, and I. We wanted to embrace our surroundings, the North-East of England, while still pursuing our own unique style of film-making. The film is a simple story of revenge with minimal dialogue, focusing strongly on the visual direction. We incorporated real-life interactions into the fictional world of Night Shift in order to create a unique hybrid of film and reality. The film features music from Canadian rap artist 'Eazy Mac', as well as an entirely original score by Liam Farrugia. The concept was born and turned into a short film over the course of 8 weeks.
