When the tragic deaths of her parents lead sheltered, sixteen-year-old, Mia to live with her grandmother in Detroit, she comes to experience another side of life. Drawn into an alluring but dangerous relationship with an older guy who hides his true identity from her, Mia is naive, and this brings her into conflict with her loved ones as her life spirals out of control in this gritty coming-of-age tragedy.

My imagination always ran wild, and I realized I loved telling stories in the form of writing. After battling numerous bouts with discouragement, I realized I have a strong passion for screenwriting and the drive to persevere through relentless obstacles.
