For me the film "Mustard in the gardens" is an attempt to return home. We have a place where we were born, grew up, but often we are not living there anymore. And it seems that space can work like a time machine. And what's the difference between me then and now?
The main protagonist of the film, Olena, is an impressive person, a Ph.D. in art studies, a business woman, a theatrical director who worked in many countries. But in this film, she is the guide to personal memories of every viewer and spectator. At least I, as a director, hope for it. And I dream of filming a full-length film about Olena.
