Mrs D. is a short étude on the themes of love, passing of time, regret, and the loss of identity that comes with age. It is based on one of the pivotal monologues from Virginia Woolf’s novel.
Starring Maria Ciesielska, the doyenne of the Polish theatre and cinema, written by Aga Lesiewicz, and directed, animated and produced by Jola Kudela, with an original score by a Canadian cellist Julia Kent,

Jola Kudela was born in Poland and now travels between Paris, London and Warsaw for various projects. Kudela graduated from the Lodz Film School (Masters in Animation and Visual Effects) and completed her training at the department of animated film at CFT Gobelins in Paris. She currently works as director, animation director and visual supervisor.
