Director Statement

One of the most significant challenges here in Uganda is waste management mostly along Lake Victoria one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Growing up along its shores I have seen the climate and pollution gradually become worse and the film is my only voice to speak about it.

Haunting Deed is a film shot on a smartphone to raise awareness among the young generation on how to manage waste by not dumping plastic bottles in this precious waterbody, a growing habit in my community.
