He is a member of the Japan Scenario Writers Association.
Raised in a Christian family with a father who is a pastor. After graduating from high school, he entered the Japan Academy of Moving Images. He was selected for the screenwriting course. After graduation, he worked in various occupations including nursing care and working for a production company before making his debut as a screenwriter in 2015 with the film "KAGURAME". He received high acclaim both domestically and internationally.
In 2019, he established Tokiwa, a group of scenario writers. He began to develop a wider range of activities and started full-scale film production in 2021.
Love 30 meters above the ground" is one of a series of short films based on the Japanese folk tale "Kaguyahime. Kaguyahime, born of bamboo, refuses the advances of many men and returns to her hometown of the moon.
This unique love story depicts the despair and hope of a man who is rejected by Kaguyahime. Even a character who is usually a supporting character in a story can become a sparkling hero if you put him in the spotlight!
