Director Statement

The film gives prevalence to desire and touch as experienced and felt through the body. It is the heart of what I want to convey through the work. I intend for this experience to be immersive for a viewer. As if they were participants in the film and can feel breath, soft hands playing mid-air, and a foot slowly twisting and turning. I hope to leave viewers with the need to reconnect with their bodies and see it outside the purview of function and logic.

This is the first film I began shooting in 2018. It is one closest to my heart, where I've been able to honestly share something with viewers that I experienced with my own body. It has been the most fruitful journey, personal and close, one that drives my own craft full circle and sets the tone for my journey in film ahead!
