Tomi Christiansson is Finnish guitarplayer and composer. His main instrument is the electric guitar. He feels that rhythm and microtonality are the most important things in guitar playing. When he was a child, he heard Peer Günt´s the dance of Mountain kings and danced like a dervish, when he was alone at home. Music is nothing, if the listeners hips doesn´t swing, he says.
His music is same as his way see world as rhythms and microtonal moments. In this experimental short film, he improvises harmonic feedback guitar reaching microtonal spheres.
Everything that is in space, has a sound, has a frequency and distances between planets, stars and suns. It form this astral instrument which plays in diatonic intervals.
Every note explodes to a myriad of clusters being simultaneously one and opening like the lotus to every sound. Catch the exact moment when the light forms a spectrum naturally.
