Belyaeva Yana Valeryevna was born on March 24, 1981 in Russia. Dad was a military man, mom was a librarian. In 1988 she went to school, and in 1989 she moved to Ukraine (Donetsk region), where she graduated from a comprehensive school and a music school in the domra class.
In 1996, she entered the Donetsk College of Music, which she graduated in 2000 with a degree in folk instruments (artist and conductor of the orchestra, teacher of domra). In the same year, she moved to Kiev, where she graduated from the National Academy of Leading Personnel of Culture and Arts with a degree in Theater Arts (director, artistic director) comprehensive school and a music school in the domra class.
From 2002 to 2012 she worked in the restaurant business, from 2013 – a freelancer. In 2019, she took part in a workshop from the Kiev film school Ukrainian Film School and the Closer art center. As a result, in her idea and script, she shot the short film «Life Without Food», which was shown in Odessa at special short film screenings from Ukrainian Film School as part of the Odesa International Film Festival.
