Director Statement

The sexual abuse of children by priests is a topical issue that needed to be told from this point of view never done before.
The short film has several messages: childhood abuse, abuse by the church, revenge, injustice, violence, against impunity, revenge.

Obviously it is not a didactic story, but rather a short film that aims to impact the public by calling attention to the terrible pain suffered in silence by millions of boys and girls in the world. Child sexual abuse and how it affects their lives, with irreversible damage.

This film talks about the damage that pedophiles do to children, in this case within the church. These abuses are covered by an institution such as the church, which means that in most cases, they go unpunished before society and justice. The idea is that the short impacts and gives voice to this theme and social scourge.

But the story revolves around the merciless portrait of pain and a murderer who seeks redemption and to do so becomes a vigilante.

I felt moved by these injustices and I drew an automaton character who wants revenge since in the face of the impunity in which these abusers and pedophiles take refuge, an avenger emerges.

Now with social networks, we live in an active moment of child abuse, in any type of society and environment, with which this story aims to give voice to a subject that is always intended to be kept and not exposed in public.
