Colton Beckwith is a student filmmaker from Northern California. He began making short films in 2019 while taking a filmmaking class taught by local filmmaker Luke Van Mol. He has been making movies and videos since early in his life, and began submitting his work to film festivals in early 2020.
Aidan Beckwith is a musician and actor from Northern California, and is Colton's older brother. He began playing piano at a very young age and currently runs a student vocal ensemble and a piano tuning business.
Let's Go Camping is a 19.5 minute comedy short film that follows three average teenagers who decide to go on a camping trip for which they are completely unprepared. Nearly two years from the idea to the big screen, my brother and I co-wrote, co-directed, and co-produced this film.
Our hope is that you enjoy the disastrous adventure of a trio of city teenagers who have no idea what they're doing. We had a lot of fun creating it, and we hope you have just as much fun watching it.
