Director Statement

Halle and Jacob met during their freshman year attending the Savannah College of Art and Design; they lived on the same floor in the dorms and have been best friends ever since. For Halle's senior thesis project at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she decided to create this film to allow Jacob to tell his story from his point of view and for Jacob to address social issues in society that he deals with on a daily basis. The crew instantly fell in love with the story and Jacob. The trip to Austin was not only most of the crew's first time in Texas but a wonderful opportunity to meet Jacob's family and friends, gaining a greater understanding of Jacob as a whole.
