Tomas is originally from Norway and is currently living in London. He is a freelance creative with a diverse set of skills. He started his career as a touring theatre actor and eventually progressed to graphic design, photography and video editing.
"Joyce" is Tomas' first true time as director after previously directing short scenes for actor showreel material. He has worked as a producer, casting director and production assistant in the past and he brings to "Joyce" his range of skills and understanding of all areas of filming.
The script for "Joyce" resonates very strongly with Tomas as he has witnessed people close to him suffer from addiction, mental health issues and alcoholism. His vision is to raise awareness of how a person loses control of their life to their addiction and how it affects everyone around them.
