Jack & Jill

Jere Franklin Galloway aka "Hollywood" was born January 27, 1955, in San Diego, California, the son of a U.S. Naval Aviator, Moved frequently, attending 13 public schools (six high schools), before dropping out after the 11th grade. Wrote, directed, and produced his first two "Super 8mm" films at fifteen years old for school projects. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy at 17 years old, turned down a "presidential appointment" to the U.S. Navy Officer's Academy (Annapolis, Maryland), electing to attend and complete naval aviation ordnance school, and subsequently transferred to VF-1 "Wolfpack", the first commissioned F-14 "Tomcat" fighter squadron, based out of Miramar, CA ("Top Gun"), attached to the USS Enterprise nuclear aircraft carrier. Decorated Vietnam War veteran. Started a professional entertainment career in 1978 as an audio and lighting engineer for the "Harlequin Dinner Playhouse", Santa Ana, CA, followed by landing a position as an audio engineer for the infamous "Starwood Club", in Hollywood which spurned further live engineering and stage management positions for grammy award-winning artists, including Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Joan Jett, The Go Go's, and many more. Left Hollywood and returned to Tennessee, branching out into FM radio personality positions, television production, writing, directing, and marketing.
Hollywood augmented his entertainment industry career by working in advanced telecommunications, IT, and E-commerce, founding multiple companies, before making a full circle, and returning to his ultimate passion, writing and producing films. He is currently a sophomore in the online "Digital Film Production" program at Los Angeles Film School, inducted into the National Entertainment Honors Society in 2023 and currently working on two feature-length films. Hollywood just celebrated his 35th wedding anniversary, a proud father of two grown sons and a smitten PaPa for his four-year-old granddaughter.
