Director Statement

The idea for "Human is Human" came to me while sitting in my intermediate production class at Avila University. Our assignment was to produce a short documentary about a single person. Parker's story has always stuck with me, and I was very eager to work with him on this film. He was instantly ecstatic by the idea which made me even more excited to start working on it. I have been friends with Parker since his sophomore year of high school and was more than happy to spread his story through the film medium.
