Henry
Separated by work commitments and the rumblings of a global pandemic, Rachel and Laura connect via a zoom call as marrieds, temporarily estranged because of work commitments with news that just will change their lives.
It was only a short time earlier when Rachel heard from the adoption agency handling their soon-to-be-delivered baby boy Henry. They revealed that Paisley, the expectant mother, has been hospitalized because preeclampsia, a health disorder dictating constant bedrest. At the same time this young mother has developed second thoughts about giving her baby up for adoption.
As doubt runs rampant, hearts are weakened, tempers flare and Henry's due date grows closer by the minute.

HENRY represents theatre and film artists coming together in the briefest amount of time for one purpose, and that was to create. Conceived in the early months of the pandemic induced shutdown, I was fortunate to be surrounded by brilliant talent looking for an outlet, regardless of the medium. HENRY was born out of that need in a workshop then expanded shortly thereafter with actors, a playwright and me as the director, all in different locations across the country, linked through hunger and technology. What transpired was a story of love, longing for togetherness and the insecurity of what lies ahead. I'm very proud of this potent little story. Welcome to the world, Henry.
