A comedy about the quirks of gym life. Kevin, a recent divorcee, seeks a change and heads to his local gym. There he meets Chad the trainer and a whole host of colorful relatable characters. Kevin is forced into this world he doesn't understand yet and doesn't quite fit in with.

Director Biography - Erick Szot

Erick J. Szot is an American film and television actor. Born on December 23rd, 1974 in Miami, Florida and raised in New Jersey to Puerto Rican and Polish parents. He worked in retail management and business management for almost twenty years before pursuing his acting passion at the age of 38. He has done background, extra and stand in work for major network shows such as Ballers, Burn Notice, American Crime Story and major motion pictures like Alvin and the Chipmunks 4 and Baywatch. He has starred many independent films and most notable as Patrick Goldstein in Vow and the comedy series Gym Shorts, that he also first time created, produced and directed.

Director Statement

Gym Shorts is my first project that I am producing and directing. I absolutely love all my actors, they are awesome!
I could not have been blessed with a better more talented cast and crew.
It's like "The Office" meets "Friends", but in the gym... and sexier.
