Timi Akindele-Ajani is an award winning emerging film director & photographer from London, who’s films touch on issues of race, relationships and identity. His latest short GUESTS tells the story of a Nigerian woman who invites her English colleague for dinner in the hope of getting her prideful husband a job. The BFI backed film is entering the festival circuit and is produced by Pavilion Works Originals.
Timi’s work is all about the inherent complexity of life, nothing is ever as simple as it seems and maybe that’s okay. Timi is a Londoner, through and through, his parents were born in the UK but raised in Nigeria, his work reflects his life experience.
