Experiencing Interruptions?

Für Uns

Für Uns marks the first of three connected music videos for the german rapper Megaloh. While giving an insight into the past life of him it also shows the unprettified reality of urban deprived areas with a self-mocking and self-critical twist. Additionally the dystopian theme of the video triology shines through and gives a hint to where Megaloh's path will lead him. The illustration style and animation is unperfect, rough and dark.

Director Biography - Martin Fischer, Nico Dörle

Martin Fischer & Nico Dörle started working together in mid 2017, initially coming together to produce commercial explainer videos, illustrations and logo animations. Martin, professional ex-musician (e.g. Long Distance Calling), locally renowned illustrator & artist and Nico, freshly graduated graphic designer and self-taught animator, worked together, besides the commercial work, on a animated music video for a mutual friend and artist. With this piece of work in their backpocket they could quickly aquire new commissioned music videos for well-known german artists and gain a foothold in the german music industry in 2020. The work of OVERTOON Studios is
dark, blunt and self-mocking.
